Vermilium: Blood Hunt, the Award-Winning Savage Worlds Adventure, is Being Re-Vamped!
White Witch Games Launches new adventure module for Savage Worlds Setting Vermilium, live on Kickstarter now.
Vermilium: Blood Hunt is a survival horror tale in which the antiheroes enter a competition to hunt a mysterious monster, supposedly responsible for a spate of recent killings, only to become the hunted themselves.
After being released as a one-page adventure through the Savage Worlds Adventurer’s Guild in 2020, and winning the SWAG Award for Best Free Product of that year, it’s been greatly expanded to now include:
· A 14-page Savage Worlds adventure lasting 1–3 sessions
· New scenes and NPCs for the players to interact with
· New monsters, artifacts, and ingredients to find using Vermilium’s unique Hunting & Gathering system
· New rules for creating animated taxidermy familiars, animal companions, and mounts to put harvested monster parts to good use
· New battle maps for tactical combat
· Six new Savage Tales set in and around the fully-fleshed out frontier town of Rat Factory, thoroughly playtested and ready to be released into the wild
Starting with a £7 pledge, the campaign offers the PDF of the 60-page modular adventure series, though higher pledge levels reward backers with the Vermilium setting book, character archetype cards, playing cards, game master screen inserts, and world maps from the original campaign.
If the first stretch goal is reached, print-on-demand vouchers will be sent to all backers to pick up physical copies of their rewards. Fulfillment will be handled through DriveThruRPG, and is slated for September, 2024. The Kickstarter campaign runs for two weeks until July 4.

Successfully funded in under seven hours back in 2022, Vermilium is a strange concoction of dark fantasy, weird western, and post-post-apocalyptic genres. It’s set in a new world inspired by the pre-colonial Americas, the Old West, and the Gilded Age. In Vermilium, you play as antiheroes: lovable rogues, bowslinger witches, industrial tomb robbers, bounty hunter knights, werewolves, vampires, and soldiers of fortune, all trying to survive in an unexplored, unforgiving frontier that has yet to be charted, tamed, or even understood.
