TTRPGifs Launches MTG Lifelink for Trans Lifeline Fundraising Event.
Ready your Commanders for a good cause in a Magic the Gathering Charity Event raising funds for Trans Lifeline.
Today, TTRPGIFS (Jorge) announced the start of the Lifelink For Trans Lifeline Event—a Tiltify-driven donation campaign raising funds for Trans Lifeline. The event has over 20 players in groups of four using the Commander format, a constructed format in Magic: The Gathering in which each players create a 100 card deck including 1 legendary creature.
Trans Lifeline is a grassroots organization hotline and microgrants non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis. Over 100,000 Calls have been answered and nearly $1.5 million of funds have been dispersed.
Lifelink for Trans Lifeline aims to raise $2000 over the course of 3 days. There will be 6 games and to close out the event there will be a "Sleeve N' Chill" stream which is a Lo-Fi hangout while organizing and putting sleeves on cards. The event will be streamed on Twitch.tv/ttrpgifs.
