Threadcutters is a tabletop RPG about occult assassins in the employ of the Arcana, powerful cosmic rulers. The rulers of the four worlds have been naughty – four of them in particular – and your patron has decided that they're going to have to pay the ultimate price. You are the weapons. You are the instruments of justice.
Except... there's something different about this job. A hint that maybe all is not as it seems.
Threadcutters uses a combination of a narrative Tarot-based system to cover most of the details of a hit, and a tight tactical combat showdown to act as the climactic set-piece. Will you overcome challenges with your weapons, gadgets, or occult magic? Or trust to Fate and let the consequences fall where they may?
Hits for all sixteen of the Tarot court cards are detailed in the book, so you can dive right in with minimal prep.
Reuniting the writer and artist who brought you Bleak Spirit, Threadcutters is illustrated by Galen Pejeau (Stoneburner, Fealty, HUNT) with writing and game design from Chris Longhurst (Pigsmoke, Strike Force Omega, See Issue X).
