Exploring Space with The Last Excelsior
The Geek and Sundry alumni-led group's latest actual play production tackles The Final Frontier with Star Trek Adventures Second Edition.
On Monday July 15th at 6PM PDT, Streampunks RPG Group - with performers from productions such as Eric's TBD RPG, Callisto 6, and many, many others, are pleased to announce their latest project set in the Star Trek universe: The Last Excelsior.
In partnership with Modiphius, The Last Excelsior will be the first actual play project featuring the new Star Trek Adventures Second Edition. Led by veteran GM Eric Campbell (Shield of Tomorrow, Callisto 6) and featuring the all-star crew of Sam de Leve (May Contain Science, On the Éarte), The Noir Enigma (Harlem Hellfighters Never Die), Kaitlin Bruder (Power Play, Thin Places Radio), Aliza Pearl (Clear Skies Perseverance), and Bonnie Gordon (Star Trek Prodigy). The Last Excelsior aims to tell the story of the crew of the USS Pride, Starfleet's last remaining Excelsior-class ship.
In 2017, Campbell and crew launched Shield of Tomorrow on Geek & Sundry, the first actual play to use Star Trek Adventures first edition from Modiphius. Striking out on their own as a gaming group in 2020, they formed the Streampunks to tell inclusive stories of hope. Finding that message in Star Trek, the Streampunks have introduced actual plays set in the same universe including Clear Skies, Blood of the Void and the award-winning Clear Skies Perseverence.
