Stumble Guys x D&D is goofy, but Hasbro’s direct links to the PIF are nothing to laugh at
Dungeons & Dragons’ new mobile game partnership might hint at what Hasbro has planned for their ongoing relationship with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.
Getting a notification on Twitter about a new Dungeons & Dragons partnership is nothing out of the ordinary. But stumbling across this Stumble Guys and D&D partnership announcement made me pause. The mobile and console-based competitive party game is made by Scopely, which is currently owned by Savvy Games Group–which is, in turn, fully owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia. This partnership is the first time that D&D has been associated with the now-PIF-owned Scopely, but it’s not the first time that Hasbro has worked with the mobile game developer… or the PIF.
