Shought Thorts returns on November 22nd
Enjoy even more of your favourite people from the gaming industry getting asked "a bunch of somewhat silly questions"
Shought Thorts, the bite-sized interview show produced by DC Bradshaw is returning for a second season on November 22nd. Once again, each episode will be 13-15 minutes long, making it perfect for a little focus break in the middle of your busy day. This season also sees the introduction of a few special extended “Duo” episodes where DC interviews creative couples for the community and asks them the familiar suite of questions!
This season's first guest is TTRPG designer, professional GM and creative audio professional, A Ghost of Eli.
DC Bradshaw: "What's a book that you think everyone should read?"
A Ghost of Eli: "I think the one book that kept coming up when I was thinking about this question was the Tao of Winnie the Pooh..."
You can watch new episodes on YouTube (youtube.com/@dcbradshaw) or enjoy them in audio format from (almost) all podcast providers! Subscribing, liking and commenting is all very much appreciated...
Catch up on Season 1
If you didn’t catch season 1 or missed a few episodes along the way, there are also embedded links to both the video and audio versions on DC Bradshaw’s website: https://dcbradshaw.com/shoughtthorts
There you’ll find interviews with a diverse range of guests including storyteller B. Dave Walters, costume and props designer EvilCleverDog, academic Dr Emily Friedman and adorable internet sensation Redwyrmling, the 7-year-old DM!
DC Bradshaw: "What's your favourite swear word or phrase that's not actually swearing?"
Isa aka EvilCleverDog: "So I very much enjoy the word 'balderdash.' [...] I also like it when people make up, like, fake swear words for fantasy and sci-fi things. The Transformers comics have a bunch of them that I think are really funny. So they say stuff like 'oh you clutch-munching piston-licker!' and 'you son-of-a-glitch!' and stuff like that. Which just sounds very visceral while being very appropriate for children."
