RPGaDAY returns in August
The community incentive to spread the word about RPGs returns for its 11th Year.
The internet incentive #RPGaDAY returns this August with a selection of new prompts to get people talking in a positive way about tabletop roleplaying games.
For the last ten years, game developer and writer David F Chapman (@autocratik) has been encouraging gamers, bloggers, vloggers and podcasters, to spread a bit of positivity about our hobby. Joined again this year by co-host Anthony Boyd (@runeslinger), the idea was created at a dark time when tabletop gaming suffered from a lot of negativity, and David and Anthony hoped to share the positive impact gaming has had on our lives.
#RPGaDAY features a daily prompt for the month of August to inspire gamers to write, record, post, illustrate, or even sing something about their hobby and to share it online using the tag #RPGaDAY2024 - this allows other gamers to find and share the posts, find new friends and players, and share stories about what tabletop gaming means to them.
For more information and to download the graphic, head over to www.autocratik.com where you'll also find a selection of alternative prompts for the month, in case you'd like to shake those dice, provided by Skala Wyzwania, as well as plain text versions of the prompts, and translations into a number of languages.
You can also follow the campaign on social media by checking out the Facebook page (www.facebook.com/RPGaDAY or searching your feed of choice with the #RPGaDAY2024 tag.
Get involved, share your stories, and have fun!
