The world is broken, the kaiju reign above. Humanity’s survival depends on the fragile enclaves hidden beneath the surface, connected to each other by the power of radio.
Radio Free Kaiju, the latest RPG from Thoughtcrime Games, is here with its first Worldbuilding Playtest. Built on the Strange Frequency Framework — the same system that powers Community Radio — this game weaves collaborative storytelling, improvisational play, and a unique “Kaiju Road” hexflower exploration system to tell a story about humanity learning to live in a strange, wondrous new world.
In this first playtest packet, you’ll create:
🌆 Your Starting Enclave — the underground stronghold where your journey begins.
🏚️ The Destination — the distant enclave you must reach against all odds.
You create the enclaves in relation to each other as well as defining their unique traits.
Radio Free Kaiju will unfold in stages, and we want you to be part of its evolution.
