Oxventure, the UK’s most-watched actual play YouTube channel, has unveiled its slate of video content for 2024, including the grand finale of its current six-year Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
Oxventure, tabletop spinoff of hugely successful video game YouTube channels Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra, is bringing its long-running Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign to a thrilling conclusion this spring with the release of The Oxventurers Guild: The Final Season. After six years of adventuring together, brave-ish heroes Dob, Corazón, Merilwen, Egbert and Prudence will finally receive a much-deserved rest or painful deaths (TBD).
The Oxventurers Guild will journey one last time through the world of Geth with their greatest enemy, drow sorceress Liliana, by their side, teaming up to defeat a threat far more powerful than they could hope to face on their own. The Oxventurers Guild: The Final Season begins this spring.
But before the Guild members take their final voyage together, there is a heap of exciting new TTRPG content coming to the Oxventure YouTube channel. The Guild appears in a much-requested Battle Royale, wherein the Oxventurers must battle each other in a (non-canon) fight to the death.
Oxventure’s new series D&D But… debuts with the hilarious one-shot D&D But… Everyone’s a Kobold. In this episode, Dungeon Master Luke Westaway leads the charge, cranking the Random Kobold Generator to bestow a new kobold on the players each time a kobold character meets their inevitable demise.
Next in the series is a two-part collaboration with juggernaut UK boardgame channel No Rolls Barred, with the Oxventure cast joined by NRB star Sullivan Brown in D&D But… Everyone Has Amnesia. In this special one-shot, players must recover their character’s murky memories by revealing the stats on scratch-off character sheets.
Following The Oxventurers Guild: The Final Season, the Oxventure crew will return in an all-new Dungeons & Dragons setting designed by DM Johnny Chiodini, with fresh characters and heart-pounding weekly episodes beginning in summer 2024.
