Mystic Punks is kickstarting a new zine and tape soundtrack in conjunction with Zine Quest 2025. The adventure called Dead Hills Mall is a tribute to suburban horror action movies of the 70s, 80s, and 90s and comes with brand new psionic powers for the game. Art is by VHS zine veteran Klon Waldrip. In addition, the crew has teamed with Fantasy Audio Magazine, a dungeon synth cassette label from KY, to produce the electronic soundtrack by Georgia space disco artist, Organically Programmed. The campaign launches February 18th.

Dead Hills Mall will be a 48 page A5 zine and requires the Mystic Punks TTRPG core rule book published by Exalted Funeral. The rule book was funded on Kickstarter last year and the digital version was released to backers this week. In anticipation of the print version, EF still offer the Quick Start Rules for free on their website.
