The actual play series takes on Slugblaster in another collaboration with Mythworks

The latest season of the TTRPG podcast My First Dungeon will take listeners through a story full of heart, worlds beyond imagination, and the woes of trying to be cool. Slugblaster: a My First Dungeon Mixtape, an 8-episode actual play series, launches April 3rd.
The series is sponsored by Mythworks, publisher of Mikey Hamm's Slugblaster—representing the second such collaboration between Many Sided Media and the team behind beloved games like The Wildsea. "This sponsorship is another signal from an incredible publisher that actual play is a worthwhile investment for supporting the life of a game after release," said the MSM team.
For the first time since My First Dungeon presents: Orbital Blues, the full Many Sided Media team can be heard on mic together. Brian Flaherty will be the season's Slugmaster while Abby Hepworth, Elliot Davis, and Shenuque Tissera will be joining the cast. Familiar guest Carolyn Page (Dropout) and first-time voice to the podcast Jenn de la Vega (Fun City) round out the table to cover all five playbooks available in the game.
With this first foray into a Forged in The Dark game (built on the framework of John Harper's Blades in the Dark), the team is excited to highlight what this game can bring to listeners' tables. Episodes will alternate between 'Runs'—high energy skate adventures that take the crew across dimensions—and 'Downtime'—scenes that cover everything from the angsty lows to the explosive highs of being a teen.
Listeners should expect the usual brand of immersive sound design, an original soundtrack by BE/HOLD that evokes the nostalgia of 90s skate culture, and a heart-filled coming-of-age story they won't soon forget.
