Monster Hour is back with its third feature length season, playing City of Mist by Son of Oak Games!

Set in the Nebulous Nineties™️, season three plunges listeners into the rainswept metropolis of Arborealis: an urban jungle of trees and concrete, brimming with secrets and schemes. Through its streets flows the Mist, an otherworldly force that awakens mythological figures inside ordinary people - while drawing a veil over the eyes of unawakened sleepers.

The story follows pâtissier and rollerskating savant Archie (he/they), gifted kid to burnout pipeline paragon Bo (she/her), and friendly neighborhood himbo firefighter Duff (he/him) as they grapple with their burgeoning supernatural identities. Thrust into a dark underbelly of mystery and mythology, these three unlikely protagonists must balance their humanity against the legends growing within them.

Monster Hour is a tightly edited, narrative driven actual play podcast with a focus on Powered by the Apocalypse games. First launched in 2019, previous seasons featured Monster of the Week by Michael Sands and Absurdia by Quinn Majeski.

Season three features Kyle Levien as the Master of Ceremonies (GM) and cast members Hannah, Quinn, and Teo as players. With artwork by Rachael Uyeno and original scoring by Kyle Levien.

New episodes air every other Tuesday, available wherever you listen to podcasts!
