Miami 86 is a rules-light, action-packed TTRPG inspired by Miami Vice, Scarface, and Vice City
It's 1986. You and your friends are new to Miami's thrilling, dangerous streets. Your bold dreams shine like neon lights, but peril lies ahead. Navigate a world of ruthless kingpins and risky deals. Each decision could make you a legend or a casualty. Rise, take your shot, and conquer the city.
Miami 86 RPG is a rules-light, action-packed role-playing game designed for 2 to 6 players (or more) with solo-play options. Immerse yourself in the quintessential 1980s Miami ambiance, inspired by iconic classics like the film Scarface, the TV series Miami Vice, and the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
The game emphasizes minimal rules and fast-paced action, featuring a core mechanic reminiscent of Into the Odd and Cairn. Character generation is quick and random, allowing you to dive straight into the action. For Game Masters, there are tools to randomly generate adventures, ensuring fresh and exciting gameplay every time. The book includes detailed descriptions of fictional places and non-player characters in Miami and beyond (including far-off locations like Colombia). Additionally, it offers an introductory adventure to get you started immediately.
