Hellborn Descended has just hit Kickstarter!
The most infernal TTRPG in the market is back... with a vengeance!

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign nearly two years ago, Hellborn returns to Kickstarter with a new and improved version, bearing the tagline Descended.
Hellborn Descended is a demonic Tabletop Role-Playing Game, where players take on the role of demons, sinners, and fallen angels working together as mercenaries to attain wealth, fame, and power in a modern Hell where mankind's worse aspects and Hell's all-destroying nature combine to create a true urban hellscape.
Its style draws inspiration from the famous shows Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, but also possesses its own distinct visual identity. Some of its other inspirations include games like Shadowrun and Blades in the Dark, but also the greater World of Darkness series, with many people claiming the game has a White Wolf feel to it.

Hellborn's main system utilises a simple 3d6 roll-over mechanic. Where it gets interesting is through advantage and disadvantage. Advantage allows players to increase their roll's result by using the highest result from a group of d6's, while disadvantage does the exact opposite.
The game possesses a myriad of character options for players to experiment with and use in their adventures. From ordinary perks that come with their role in their crew, to infernal magical abilities called Maleficas that every character has some modicum of ability to use. Weapons and armor are also customizable, giving players an extra layer of customization.
Every character also has two tarot cards, which represent their positive aspects (their upright card) and their negative aspects (their reversed card).
Combat is also quick and fun, yet surprisingly tactical, encouraging players to think smart, cooperate, and use their perks and powers with efficiency in mind.

Hellborn's new crowdfunding campaign is live now on Kickstarter, with the goal of getting the last few illustrations it needs. Some of it's stretch goals include a new cover for the game, and a set of custom tarot cards (mockup below).
If you like demons, the occult, or any of the aforementioned inspirations it draws from, this game will put a spell on you like no other.
