Golden Dice Diversity Microgrants
Run by the Roll Together Foundation, in partnership with QuestCon Orlando

We're thrilled to announce the Roll Together Foundation's Golden Dice Microgrant, a program designed to empower and uplift femme-presenting and BIPOC tabletop game designers. We recognize the importance of diverse voices in the tabletop industry and are committed to creating opportunities for underrepresented creators to bring their unique visions to life. Our microgrants will offer two game designers $1000, along with mentorship from industry professionals, to ensure their games are created.
The Golden Dice Microgrant will provide funding to selected designers, helping them cover costs associated with game development, such as art, prototyping, playtesting, and marketing. Beyond the financial support, recipients will also have access to possible mentorship from those who work in the industry. We are collaborating with Mondo Davis, Vee Muse, Bec Godsey, Ginny Loveday, Anthony Joyce-Rivera, Marcello De Velazquez, and Carlos Tamajon. It is also in partnership with QuestCon Orlando, who is offering a free community table for grant recipients to demo their game to the public.
When are applications due and what is needed?
Applications for Golden Dice Microgrant are due March 14, 2025.
When applying, applicants will need to submit their “elevator pitch” to give the voting committee an understanding of what the game entails. Application will also include what material the grant will help pay for.
How are grant winners determined?
Grant applications will be voted on by a committee of industry professionals who are either artists, designers, or writers who are aware of what would be considered viable in the industry.
Applicants will be asked to submit their name, preferred contact information, a headshot (optional), a breakdown of what the funds would be used for, and any social media accounts.
