This is a community submitted press release.

GOLD TEETH is a grotesquely comic tabletop roleplaying game for 3-6 people about piracy and occult horror in a cursed corner of the Caribbean. Players travel land and sea as motley crew of seadogs and desperados, seeking some measure of salvation in a place doomed by colonial terror and supernatural catastrophe.

GOLD TEETH is a standalone sequel to our first book, the ENnie-nominated TEETH, and does not require the original to play.

With our backers' help, it will become a 350+ page, full-colour, hardback book, heavily illustrated throughout, and crammed full of nautical derring-do, shadowy intrigue and hideous seafood—not to mention robust rules for land and ocean adventuring, as well as tables and prompts aplenty to tempt the GM.

The year is 1781. Oceans are battlefields. And battlefields are rich pickings for the likes of you. Nowhere is this more true than the Punchbowl of the Antilles—a tropical archipelago brutalised by colonial powers and further cursed by the detonation of an occult weapon one year past. This is the scene of our adventures in piracy, which must involve subterfuge, and might possibly involve desperate redemption from the kinds of doom that only a pirate can face.

As players, you will...

  • Play cat-and-mouse with colonial navies as the seas are thrashed with a shrieking, blood-red rain!
  • Swashbuckle with skeletal reavers while white-crested waves smash across the bow!
  • Navigate treacherous reefs prowled by monstrous eels and plug your ears to the voices of the drowned calling you to the depths!
  • Hack your way through foetid jungles, stalked by horrors from another reality, and creep through hidden coves, hoping not to wake the long-slumbering guardians of the treasure within.

And there are darker corruptions still that lurk within the colonies themselves—betrayal at the end of a blade may await you in the back-alleys of any port. What will you find upon these wretched seas? Riches, redemption or just a watery grave?

Head to our Kickstarter page for yet more details of this project and, if you are so minded, back it.
