Charity bundle Solo But Not Alone has returned for its fifth year, selling a massive collection of tabletop RPGs for single players at a discount. As in 2024, all proceeds will be donated to Take This Org, which plies its resources towards education and destigmatization of mental health within the gaming industry.

This year’s bundle contains a fresh batch of 107 tabletop games, supplements and tools meant for solo play—a niche-within-a-niche for our small industry but one full of creativity—all for $10. Peach Garden Games designer Cat McDonald launched the initiative in 2021, saying that her young niece inspired McDonald to “spend my birthday working on something for others,” she told Rascal via email.

Half a decade marks a notable consistency for an individual to spearhead any level of mutual aid. The first three bundles partnered with mental health and suicide prevention organization Jasper’s Game Day but switched recipients in 2024. Every bundle has hosted over 100 projects—none of them repeats—and has raised over $120,000 so far.
