Tales from Myriad is a new tabletop role-playing game that focuses on player choice, and the creative side of being a Game Master. Rich with tools and evocative art, it aims to demystify and streamline the creative responsibilities that Game Masters may take on while running a game. With tools such as the Dungeon Generator, City Planner, both Wild and Urban Exploration, and guides to designing your own monsters and puzzles, Game Masters will not only be able to keep their table engaged with each passing moment, but will take weight off of planning while leaving creativity to the GM.

Handy spreads and charts fill the GM's section of the book! This one in particular stretches over even more pages. Art by Carson Daniel (@EmberwickArt).

While the system and tools can be taken with you to any game you might run, Tales from Myriad does come with its own setting and flare. Detailed in the flavorful Rovio's Journal section of the book, the setting is both evocative and filled with adventure hooks to get you excited to play and explore!

The system is specifically designed around running long-form games up to a very achievable 10 levels, with no level feeling like a doldrum in the player's sails.

Tales from Myriad rewards players for mastering the chaos, and taking the reigns of their own story. Introducing players to their characters by first determining a patchwork of wild costuming, players will explore their characters just as much as they explore how they function.

For example, a Scholar who is an animated jar known as an Animus, wearing a massive snail shell and a chest harness connected to horned shoulder guards, wielding an opalescent sickle made of void and stars. (Yes, all of these are real things you can roll up a character with - and they weren't even the weirdest ones).

The Beastkin are only one of eight Kindred you can play as - but don't worry! The Kin you play will not affect gameplay. Art (left to right) by Lily Brair (@_QAE0), Carson, and Carson again.

Along with Personal Quests that players can chase to level up their characters outside of the XP system, players are encouraged to carve out their own path. From their Abilities, to their weapon preference, to hunting for magic, to choosing when you go in combat, Tales from Myriad is an explosively colorful and incredibly engaging table-top experience.

To top it all off, the art is absolutely amazing and unique, with 25 very well compensated artists contributing their skill and flavor to the visual experience that is Myriad!
