EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self, Second Edition—Available Now!

EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self is an RPG designed for 2-6 players, inspired by anime like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and video games like Persona. Players are granted the ability to summon Eidolons, avatars of the soul that have a wide range of reality-bending superpowers; Conductors that warp reality with their charisma, Navigators who sense things with supernatural precision, Alchemists that can transform something into something else, and more. Together, the party will use their Eidolons to fight against the influence of The Undertow, the psychic currents that apply dark pressure upon the collective unconscious.

The first edition of EIDOLON released approximately two years ago, using standard mechanics that anyone familiar with PbtA games would immediately recognize. In this second edition, the systems have been reworked from the ground up, replacing dice entirely with a tarot card-based system. Every action requires a draw, and every card imposes a new Forecast that influences the direction of the scene. Play The Magician to "achieve the impossible;" play The Empress and "you create something;" play The Devil and "you get what you want at a price you can't afford."

This edition of the game features stellar illustration and graphic design by Tavish Buchanan, Julie Low, and Abby Rexy Siltala, as well as layout work and additional illustrations by L.L. Simkowiak.

EIDOLON was developed in conjunction with the award-winning Eidolon Playtest podcast, which has just recently completed its third season, Eidolon DISCO/Eidolon SKA.
