Ceramic is a unique material that allows for all sorts of creative decoration. In recent years, many new dicemakers have popped up offering all sorts of insane resin wizardry in the TTRPG makerspace. It's normal to see gold leaf used as inclusions inside resin dice. However, ceramic dice have one unique property that can be used alongside such luxurious material.
Gold luster is a product used for glass and ceramics. "Luster," or "Lustre," or simply "gold overglaze" is real gold suspended in pine resin. The chemical is painted onto the surface of the glaze and then fired again to burn off the resin. What is left behind is a thin layer of pure gold.
