War Child UK is a registered charity and critically works to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict and go to the hardest to reach places to support them. According to their recently released 2023 Annual Report,

It was an unprecedented year for children living in conflict – with the continuation of war in Ukraine, tragic earthquakes in Syria and Afghanistan and other crises around the world. Globally, the number of children living amid armed conflict has risen to a total of 230 million. 2023 will also be remembered for the latest, devastating escalation of violence in the Middle East, with the deadly attacks by Palestinian armed groups on 7 October followed by an Israeli retaliation that by the end of 2023 killed an estimated 14,000 children and left virtually the entire population of Gaza in urgent need of aid. The conflict has implications right across the region, including in Lebanon and Yemen.

In order to support this vitally important work, EUphoria is hosting 'Deck the Dice', a charity stream event where we've invited diverse and talented players and GMs from across Europe to help raise funds for War Child UK through TTRPG actual play.

We'll be playing 2-session campaigns of Vaesen by Free League Publishing and Heart: The City Beneath by Rowan, Rook & Decard.

Vaesen streams Tuesdays 10 & 17 December at 7pm BST/8pm CET with Kat the Lore Mistress as Game Master. Heart: The City Beneath streams Thursdays 12 & 19 December at 7pm BST/8pm CET with Ruben as Game Master.

Thanks to the generosity of RuneFable Dice (based in Leeds, UK), we're also holding a giveaway on the last day of the event (19 December) of a beautiful set of handmade dice.
