The creator of Coyote & Crow has plans for a consulting division within the small company that’s grown around the game. Tentatively called Coyote & Crow Consulting, the group will connect Native designers, sensitivity readers, and cultural experts with RPG publishers to provide contract consulting work at every level of the industry.

Connor Alexander laid out his plans to raise the representational bar as part of a larger state-of-the-company blog titled “The Changing Face of Coyote & Crow Games” You can read the full thing, which includes some personal reflection on handling the indigenous futurism RPG’s breakout, million-dollar success while also learning (through some failure and poor judgment) to run a successful business. Alexander isn’t shy in eating humble pie and shouldering blame, but the account also highlights just how much work happens between ending a Kickstarter campaign and putting a book in players’ hands.
