Before the Flood: Funded in Under 24 Hours

Sometimes a rising tide isn't such a bad thing.

Before the Flood: Funded in Under 24 Hours
This is a community submitted press release.

The Backerkit campaign for Before the Flood, a map-making game for six players, was fully funded in less than 24 hours! The campaign continues to grow, hitting three stretch goals within the first three days of it going live.

Before the Flood is a game about discovering the world that existed before our own, written by Nicholas Ambrose and Sylvan Lawrence. Players take on one of six mantles, embodying the fundamental forces that made up that world. Each mantle has its own unique mechanics and role, helping players choose how they want to be involved in the storytelling each time they sit down to draft a new map.

The campaign includes some rewards that are only going to be available through the Backerkit: the Book of Legend, a whole separate zine for players to use during the game to inspire and guide their stories, a tarot card and playing card featuring artwork from Before the Flood, copies of the game signed and annotated by Nicholas and Sylvan, and more!

Before the Flood is live now until the 15th of August. Back it today to help it hit all the stretch goals, including the one where Nicholas and Sylvan will fly the entire team out to attend Big Bad Con (and also jump into the San Francisco bay in the middle of October).
